Excellent and memorable trip of a lifetime!
Did the Contiki tour in 2018 and was fortunate to have John as our tour guide. He was extremely friendly, organized, knowledgeable, and professional. I had an enjoyable time with him and he made sure we were on track. The trip to Peru was a birthday gift to myself and in Cusco he surprised me with a cake which made my birthday memorable as I wanted to keep it low key and not tell anyone. Amazing Solo Trip!
My first solo trip was guided by John and as with any new experience I was nervous about how this would go. John was welcoming from Day One and made the trip so much fun. He listened to all requests and made sure we saw and experienced everything we had planned. He constantly went above and beyond for us including directing us to local places to eat and sight see, even on his rest days. A must do!!
John was an exceptional guide. His local knowledge was absolutely outstanding. If you want to see the touristy places but also those that the locals flock to, then you can’t go wrong with John. He took us around Cusco and Machu Picchu – gave us lots of options and recommendations of the best places to eat (which was a real highlight for me!). He made sure we didn’t miss anything we wanted to see and took us to heaps of cool places we didn’t know about. John made my time in Peru just incredible. Best tour guide on the planet
As someone who’s traveled all over the world, I can confidently say John is one of the best tour guides out there. John was my tour guide traveling all over Peru. From local history, good places to eat, good places to drink, places to stay away from, he knows it all. He even told us which street food vendors are good to buy from and which are not. The best Tour Guide!! Made the trip!
I travelled with my partner and we both agree John made our trip. He wasnt just our tour guide, he was a friend. He listened to what we wanted out of the trip and took us everywhere, even on his days off! He took us to the tourist spots, as well as local spots that we would have never found without him.
