This is a high altitude experience. Although our tour guides will be carrying oxygen tanks and coca leaves, It is highly recommended to spend 3-4 days in Cusco to avoid altitude sickness.

Cusco Hotel Transfer

Welcome to Cusco! Today, our representative will meet you and assist you on arrival at the airport. We will transfer you to your hotel and assist with your check-in.
As Cusco is at a high altitude, (11,151 ft / 3399 metres above sea level) we do suggest to spend the rest of the day relaxing. We would also recommend arriving in Cusco in the morning. So that you can acclimatize to the altitude for the rest of the day or come a day before you start this Cusco Vacation Package tour with us.
Sightseeing in Cusco City. The former capital of Incas is home to their fascinating artworks that are still intact to this day with a mix of European-colonial style.
We will be leaving from your hotel at 1 pm. On this half day tour we will be visiting one of the most captivating cathedral of Peru, Cusco Cathedral.
We will continue the tour by stopping at the temple of Coricancha (Sacred Temple of the Incas) and finish exploring the city by going to the nearest archaeological site of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman (12139 ft / 3700m). We end the tour by visiting Qenqo, Tambomachay and return back to the hotel.
Today we will visit one of the most iconic places in Cusco, The Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will pick you up at 7:30 am and make our way to the first stop point, Awanacancha.
During the trip, we will have our first sighting of South America’s treasured animals, llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos. We will also have the opportunity to learn about the alpaca wool and have time to shop for some beautiful quality baby alpaca fabrics.
As we continue on with the tour, we visit the archaeological center of Pisac (9,750 ft / 2,972 m), one of the prominent ruins along the Sacred Valley. Pisac market is one of the most visited markets. Here you will find a variety of gifts and souvenirs for all types.
Afterwards, we will have lunch (included) offering a variety of options. Then we stop at a Peruvian bar (Chichería) and try the traditional Peruvian drinks.
Finally, we stop at the last archeological site, known as Ollantaytambo, to visit one of the oldest museums of South America. We will then continue by exploring the archaeological site and move our way to the hotel in the Sacred Valley.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am. From there, we will drive to Ollantaytambo train station. Here we will be boarding the train to km 104.
The train runs through the course of Urubamba river. The real adventure begins at Km 104!
Short Inca trail is not a challenging hike. It can be covered easily in 4 hours. The trail starts with a gradual climb to the renowned archaeological site, Wiñay Wayna. It nestles at 8746 ft./ 2666m.
Here we will have time to explore and learn more of its history and origins. After lunch, we will be ascending through mountains and a further 2 hours through terrain fields.
With spectacular views and unforgettable memories along the Inca trail, you will have every chance to take incredible pictures of the sunset from Inti Punku or Sun Gate, overlooking Machu Picchu.
Mission accomplished, we will arrive at Machu Picchu!
We make our way to Aguas Calientes via bus and stay overnight at one of our recommended hotels!
The most awaited day of the Cusco Vacation Package, we will be visiting Machu Picchu.
After breakfast we will board the bus (30 minute ride) to the citadel of Machu Picchu Citadel (7874 ft / 2400 m).
Our guide will have the pleasure to share the history of our ancestors and show you the most important places of Machu Picchu. This will be a guided tour of 2 hours.
From there, you will have free time to explore and take plenty of photos. If you have booked to hike Huayna Picchu mountain or Machu Picchu mountain, our guide will be directing you to the trail head.
We will finish the tour by boarding the bus back to Aguas Calientes, have lunch (included) and take the train that leaves at about 2:30pm.
Please note, the train ride will be 2 hours and another 2 hours via bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
Cusco has plenty to offer! Whether it be adventure, culture, trekking or shopping! So take advantage of today to explore more about this beautiful city. We recommend a tour of the iconic, San Pedro Market.
You will be picked up from your hotel at 5 am to leave to the southern valley of Cusco, a bus drive of approximately 2 hours. Here you will have a small stop for breakfast (included).
After breakfast, the trip will continue for 45 more minutes on the bus until you reach the starting point of the Rainbow Mountain Trek.
The Rainbow Mountain Trek hike takes approximately 2 hours until reaching the top of the mountain. The hike is mostly a climb up to the top (16,732 ft / 5,100 m), which is generally an easy trail.
Nevertheless, the altitude is what makes this hike a challenge. Along the hike you will see beautiful landscapes, some local families and of course many llamas and alpacas. Once you reach the top you can appreciate grand Ausangate, one of the largest snowfalls in the Cusco region.
When everyone finishes taking pictures of the Rainbow Mountain, you will start the descent until getting back to the bus. You will return by bus to Ccolca and have lunch there. After lunch, the bus drive will continue for 2 more hours until arriving at Cusco at 4pm – 5pm approximately.
We will be picking you up from the hotel and will be transferring you to the airport.
