Why the Inca Trail Trek is the Best Option

The Inca Trail Trek is more than a pathway; it is the most genuine route to reach Machu Picchu. Each footstep embraces history, nature and the power of the Andes.

  1. Hike the Original Inca Trail: You will hike the very same sacred Inca Trail as the Incas over a thousand years ago, and visit extraordinary archaeological sites like Wiñay Wayna and Runkurakay that lay in seclusion, far up the mountains.
  2. Enter Machu Picchu at Sun Gate: You will witness the very first sunrise over Machu Picchu at Inti Punku, the only entrance reserved for those serviced by the Inca Trail. It may well be the most memorable arrival possible.
  3. Exclusive and Limited Experiences: With permits issued daily and limited, every day is an exclusive adventure, the perfect blend of history, difficulty and breathtaking nature that is so unique, it will never be experienced anywhere else, no less in South America.
