Day 1: Cusco to Aguas Calientes

7:00 a.m.: Our 2-day tour to Machu Picchu from Cusco begins with an early morning pickup at your hotel, then we will depart from Cusco at approximately 7:00 a.m. and embark on a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley.

8:30 a.m.: After approximately an hour and a half, we will arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station, located 61 kilometers from Cusco. Here we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

10:00 a.m.: The train ride takes approximately an hour and a half, covering a distance of 48 kilometers. During this time, you will fall in love with the beautiful landscape, which includes valleys and imposing mountains. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will check into our accommodation and you will have free time to enjoy lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore the charming town, where you can visit local markets, stroll through the streets, or relax in the nearby hot springs. And to make sure you are well rested for the next day's adventure, we recommend that you go to bed early.

5:30 AM: On the second day of our Machu picchu tour from cusco 2 days, we will rise early and have breakfast at the hotel. We will then board a bus to Machu Picchu at around 5:30 AM for a 25-minute ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The 5-mile (8-kilometer) serpentine road offers breathtaking views of the Urubamba River below.

6 AM: Upon arrival, our expert tour guide will lead you on a 2- to 3-hour exploration of the magical Inca citadel.
